In 2013 we built our own kalari – the building in which kalarippayattu is practised – in Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala, India.
It is located just next to Sankar’s parents’ house.
It is called Alamkottu Kalari Sangham – a kalari of brave Hanuman (the Hindu monkey god).
Every winter we stay there 1-2 months and practise with our students. Some of them come from Wrocław where we run regular classes, while others come from all over the world: Italy, France, Spain, USA, Korea and other countries. Some students have never practised kalari before and training at our place is their first encounter with this art. Some though come there regularly.

During winter practice in February 2020, reporters from AsiaNet News channel visited our kalari. Thanks to it, we can now move to Kerala for a short while:
